Gina Young's newest play, Salt Water, is playing at the Live Girls! Theater in Ballard later this month.
Previously I've regretted breaking news here that I get via my Facebook friends' status updates but this was confirmed by the High Dive's website: Ms. Led, the first band I ever wrote about (back when I was a writer at ROCKRGRL magazine) and have been friendly with ever since, is playing their final show in January. January 23rd at the High Dive, to be exact.
I'm very saddened by this because Ms. Led was one of the very first bands to be nice to me when I started going to shows 6 years ago. They also kick ass. Unfortunately, my birthday is also that night, so I don't think I'll be able to make this show - which makes it suck times ten now.
I was also sick when The Young Sportsmen played their final show a few weeks ago and I loathe not being able to properly say goodbye to my favorite Northwest.
I'll post more details when I know them. In the meantime, here's the awesome video to the song "New Agenda".
