Tonight in Seattle:

Common Market are insanely uncommon

I cannot wait to hear Common Market's new EP, Black Patch War, which I know is going to be one of my major summer-lovin' listening habits, but in the meantime, I have to ask: (though it's to be simulcast in NYC, so it makes sense scuttered time-wise) How the hell could they play at 7 AM this morning in Ballard for KEXP Day and then the Vera Project tonight with D.Black? That's CRAZY! Or just once again shows how focused and brilliant and together this duo is.

You hear this kind of rah-rah a lot about a lot of different artists, but if you've never seen RA Scion and Sabzi work it live, bring the whole freakin' family tonight to the Vera! I have seen them get EVERYONE dancing at shows.

^^ By me :D

The Black Patch War EP is a giant step forward for Common Market. Trust me, it is gooood stuff.

They do put on an amazing live performance, if you haven't seen them before definitely check them out tonight at the Vera. I am excited to pick up their new album.

Just got back from the Vera show. I was tired from being on my feet all day and I still couldn't help but dance and move around. Common Market had the crowd moving and their new stuff sounds pretty good.
