I'm surprised no one else has posted this here yet, as the news hit last week!
For the few of us who enjoy Radiohead on TIG, Billboard announced they WILL be touring this year. But so far...we only have the cities they will be playing:
Atlanta
Boston
Charlotte, N.C.
Chicago
Cleveland
Dallas
Houston
Indianapolis
Los Angeles
Miami
Montreal
New York
Philadelphia
San Diego
San Francisco
Santa Barbara, Calif.
Seattle
St. Louis
Tampa, Fla.
Toronto
Vancouver
Washington, D.C.
Which venue do you think they'll be playing in this area? My coworker and I say the Gorge again.

I saw Radiohead at the Gorge last time they came through town. I felt like I was trapped in Jonestown and Thom was Jim himself.

Portland now has a petition going to get their fair city added to the list.

they were amazing at the gorge. while they were equally amazing at white river, it wasn't quite as enjoyable overall. white river blows.

I saw them at the Gorge back in 2001. One of the best shows I've been to.
White River feels like going to a concert at a mall.

What if they surprise us all and do a club tour? That would rule.

I was also at that show, and loved it. Thom's voice filled the Gorge... it was quite transcendent. I'd pass on any lesser Radiohead experience.

I missed them at the Gorge, so I can't comment there. But I have seen them in smaller venues and they were stellar...though their huge sound overfilled the rooms, so maybe an open-air space, below the stars, is the way to go.

There would be riots. They couldn't even do their recent London in-store show actually in the store; it had to be moved at the last minute to a larger place nearby because of the size of the crowd that showed up.
