Tonight in Seattle:

Last night's Long Winters {secret} show

The long winters played some songs

{the official set list... although we're not entirely sure they stuck to it}

Those of us who excel at anagrams, gathering clues, and love all things Long Winters were in luck last night as our blessed pack of Long Winters took the Crocodile stage last night under the scrabble'd headlining name The Newton Girls.  The cozy set featured old and new songs, punctuated by signature John Roderick between-song banter. Hilarity ensued and wonderful indie-rock memories were made.

Where you at the show?  Tell us your favorite (car)parts!  Share your photos!

You could feel the love in the room. People were smiling, singing, and soaking in the sounds.
My favorite part was when John said the band had more names than a Hindu god, then wondered jokingly if that was racist.
A few pictures
Those are GREAT photos! Thanks for sharing David! I so love this J Rod look he's sporting nowadays. We should def make a collectible calendar with each month sporting a different one of his classic looks.
